Maha Natyalaya Bharatanatyam Dance Academy teaches the renowned Kalakshetra styled Bharatanatyam.

Mahalakshmi Krishnamurthy has been dancing since the age of four.

She has learnt this classical art form traditionally.

She has undergone rigourous training under great dancers like Guru Dhananjayans , Guru Adyar K. Lakshman and Guru Jayashree Narayanan.

Currently she is under the guidance of Guru Smt. Mythili Raghavan.

Dance has always been a major part of her life. It gives her immense pleasure to dance, to teach, to discuss and to learn more about it.

She believes in passing on this tradition to the next generation through which they develop roots to our culture and wings to fly.
